Gingham is one of those prints that instantly updates any ensemble for the spring season. It’s easy to wear and pays homage to 50’s and 60’s style (think Audrey Hepburn and Brigitte Bardot). But you have to be careful! You don’t want to end up looking like Dorothy, a picnic blanket, a milkmaid, or any other cliché that might pop into your head when you picture this preppy fabric. Gingham is this season’s go-to print, so don’t be afraid to give it a try! Follow my tips and everyone will want to follow your lead.

For fast drying, mist your nails with cooking spray (Pam works well) and wait one minute. Rinse with cold water at first and then hot to get all the oil off your hands. You may also only run your nails under cold water and skip the cooking spray, but this doesn’t work as quickly.
