I’ve found the perfect DIY to spice up any wall in your house! It’s hard to believe, but all you need is chicken wire, colored paper, a white frame, a staple gun and staples, wire cutters, and some spray paint! IMG_3086 First, step outside and spray the chicken wire white. Let it dry according to the instructions on the can. You only need to spray one side. chicken-wire-frame Next, staple the chicken wire to the back of the frame using a staple gun. You want the white side of the chicken wire to look like it is framed. Cut the excess wire with the wire cutters. Make sure you bend over the sharp edges of the wire (you don’t want to cut yourself!). I did this using the wire cutters but needle nose pliers also work well. frame-clip-edges Once you have the frame finished, cut the colored paper into 2×8 inch strips. PaperWheel Roll up the strips of colored paper and insert them into the openings of the chicken wire. You can fill up as much or as little as you would like. frame-paper-rolls Once you’ve created a look you love, all you have to do is hang it up! paper-frame Check out other ways to decorate your space:
