Tie-Dye-Jacket While making my Mother’s Day gift for my mom (click here to check it out) I realized that I had some leftover supplies from my tie-dye kit. I was so excited when I came up with the idea to use the dye on one of Zelda’s white denim jackets. I went for all purple, but you can always do multi-color too if that’s more your style. You just need a white jacket, a tie-dye kit, and rubber bands. First, rubber band the jacket. Since the denim is a little harder to work with than a cotton tee, I bunched the jacket together and randomly placed the rubber bands. I was super happy with the result, because it gave the jacket more of an acid washed appearance. Once you’ve placed the rubber bands you can start applying the dye. Next, place it in a plastic bag and let it sit for 6-8 hours. Rinse the jacket until the water runs completely clear (I threw mine in the washing machine), and once it’s dry you’ll have a RAD revamped denim jacket that you’re little one will love!
