We finally made it through January! I don’t know about you, but my hair looks like it barely survived and it is in need of a major pick me up. My broken ends are shining through, I could use a fresh color and my static is out of control. However, it’s winter so that is to be expected. Whenever I have the chance, I seize the opportunity to wear my hair back because it makes me feel put together. I’m totally crushing on this tutorial because it is super simple, and it is easy to do on yourself. The best part? It’s meant to look messy, which means if it isn’t perfect no one can tell.
If you haven’t checked out my Instagram Live feed with BloHaute be sure to take a peek, each video is full of hair takeaways. (I learn something every time!) We are doing a Live this Sunday at 7:30am. Yes, you read that correctly, seven-thirty-in-the-morning! If you’re a mom, you’re already up at that time. If you aren’t up, don’t worry. The video will replay all day long! Also, be sure to read below because I’ve been testing out a ton of new products. The IKG wipes are the bomb and are well worth the investment. The charcoal dry wipes are the best dry shampoo remedy I’ve ever used, and the Get Lit wipes quickly tame those pesky flyaways – you’ll thank me later. Happy weekend!
The Pinned & Knotted Ponytail
Are you looking to upgrade your classic ponytail but don’t have a lot of time? This style is super simple and easy to do on yourself! The key here is to make sure you have nice texture and waves in your hair prior to styling. Doing so will give you the necessary volume to make the knots look perfectly messy. This ponytail is ideal for your third or fourth day post low out. I usually finish it with a hair pin or scrunchy at the bottom!

I LOVE to sleep with this pillowcase, it makes my hair last at least 2-3 additional days.
