As much as I hate to say it a huge trend this spring is the ugly/athletic shoe. One thing can be said, it is comfortable.

A pleated skirt is extremely flattering for any shape, if you know how to wear it. The key is to highlight your waist and that means tucking in your shirt. If you have a curvy shape I recommend wearing a light flowy fabric. If you have shorter legs choose a higher hemline so that the skirt isn’t cutting you off at the calves.
Accordion pleats are perfect if you are looking to obtain an hourglass effect. For the least amount of volume choose a skirt with knife pleats, this will help your behind look smaller. Looking to hide your tummy? Stitched down pleats will help you achieve this. Don’t forget that a pleated skirt looks best with heels! I love pairing it with an edgy bootie or a soft feminine sandal.

The blue blouse is one of my favorite essentials this spring. It goes with almost everything and there are so many ways you can wear it. Ditch your white blouse this season and rock blue!
