Win My Latest Hair Removal Obsession: The Silk’n Infinity

Maybe it’s just being a mom, or maybe it’s my age, but the more time has gone on, the more I’ve started to pay attention to what’s going on with my body. Lately wrinkles and body hair rank among the top two things that I’ve been noticing—and not in a good way if you know what I mean.

This summer it just seems like my leg and bikini hair have been in overdrive. And to be honest, I don’t have a ton of hair and never minded shaving, but I think since becoming a mom, I just want hacks for everything—including getting rid of body hair.

So, I started doing some research and realized how expensive laser hair removal is. On top of that, how much time I’d have to spend going into an office for all the ongoing treatments. It seemed super impractical and inconvenient. That’s when I started looking for at-home devices, which didn’t really seem to exist in this category. Then I found the Silk’n Infinity, which is the real deal and leading device for at-home hair removal. There are 732 reviews on their website that pretty much all say it works miracles. And in case you didn’t know, Silk’n is like the OG of at-home hair removal. Sold!

I also want to add that I was most intrigued because of Spiro, my Greek. He is very (strong emphasis here) hairy, and he could give you waxing stories that are worthy of a comedy set. I thought he’d dig the Silk’n so obviously I brought him in on the experiment. I couldn’t talk him into before and after photos being published for the world to see, but man, I wish I could share before/after photos. I’ll try to get his approval when I share an update in about six weeks though—promise! So whether you also have a hairy husband (ha!) or just want to do a girl’s night in, I could see a ton of people loving this.

Now that you know that Spiro and I are both fans, let’s discuss why the Silk’n Infinity works so amazingly well. And what makes it different? Without getting too scientific, it has what’s called breakthrough eHPL technology, which stands for Home Pulsed Technology with galvanic and optimal energy. This magic essentially opens your pores, reaches deep down to the root of the hair and stops its growth. All while simultaneously hydrating and improving the look of your skin and making it silky soft.

The eHPL technology is new and is the first of its kind as far as at-home devices that can permanently remove hair in such a sophisticated way. I honestly don’t know how I’d ever go back to shaving, waxing and tweezing after using this thing. It truly is magical. And the best part? It’s pain-free! No discomfort, no irritation and super simple to use.

And speaking of how to use it, although the technology sounds crazy and complicated, Silk’n made it very easy to operate at home. Basically, all you have to do is exfoliate, and it comes with some incredible EcoTool exfoliating gloves, so no extra fuss there. The gloves will take off all the dead skin cells, priming your skin for the light energy (and you can use these daily in the shower, not just when you’re using the device). Then, you’re actually going to shave and moisturize just like normal (until the technology really kicks in and you can throw that razor in the trash, of course). Once you’re dry, clean, and shaved, you go in with the Silk’n and bam! It gets to work.

They provide tons of guidance and a Q&A section so any questions you have will be answered. There’s also information on the website in the FAQ section on what areas of the body are safe to use this treatment on so you don’t have to wonder about that either.

Spiro and I are still in the beginning stages where you treat yourself every two weeks, but it’s working like magic already. It can take as little as six treatments for your hair to be completely gone. Which is amazing, right?! There is so little effort required by us and we can do it whenever it’s convenient, which is probably my favorite part. I mean, a whole body treatment can be done in less than 20 minutes! Otherwise, I really do just enjoy the satisfaction of watching my hair go bye-bye.

I’m all about any device that can make my life easier, so to say I’m a big fan of the Silk’n Infinity is an understatement. I like it so much, in fact, that I’m going to be launching a giveaway and giving one lucky follower their own Silk’n Infinity (retails at $399)! Head over to Instagram for details on the giveaway! If you’re ready to grab one for yourself right now, you can find them on Silkn.com or Amazon.

Thank you to Silk’n for sponsoring this post. It’s partners like this that make documenting our journey possible.
