We all know that moms generally pull most of the weight when it comes to household chores. It is possible that you have a unicorn husband that eagerly jumps in to help and cleans up after himself, and for that I applaud you. Now for the other 99% of us who generally get stuck with “everything” because it is somehow assumed that we enjoy doing it, because “we do it better than they ever could.” And while that is indeed the truth, it does not make it fun. With that being said (and because we’re multi-tasking geniuses) we are always looking for great household hacks or products to make things easier.
Recently I was contacted by Rowenta about a new iron that just came out on the market. Now before you roll your eyes and think this girl is going to try to sell me an iron because they sent her one, give me just a moment because I promise you are going to LOVE me for this! Ironing can be a bit intimidating and costly if you don’t know what you are doing. When it comes to changing the settings for different fabrics I always cringe slightly as the iron and my clothes make contact for the first time. I find myself praying that I don’t overheat or burn the garment. When the Rowenta team told me that this iron only had one setting they had my attention.
I have been trying to get creative with how I do things around the house and always try to find a way to include Zelda. Being at such an impressionable age it is important for her to understand and learn what I am doing, rather than just sticking her in front of the TV. When my new Rowenta SteamCare Iron arrived I decided to also order Zelda a mini ironing board so she could iron along with me. Previously, I had not thought about including her in this task since it is obviously dangerous. BUT then I found a cute mini set and realized she wouldn’t know the difference. We setup our boards in her room and got to ironing, it was by far the most fun I have ever had perfectly pressing Sprio’s shirts and the quickest because the iron is INSANE!
The Rowenta SteamCare Iron is super lightweight and the single setting is simply genius. With just one smart temperature that automatically adjusts to the fabric, it gives the magic combo of steam and heat, and makes you look like a professional. The ergonomic body makes it super easy to iron the tiniest garments and it has a simple on/off steam button so you can vertically steam anything, including your curtains (yes I went there!). Seriously, it’s an awesome product that makes your life easier. #DropsMic.
