This autumnal crostini is a September staple in my home! It’s quick and easy to put together (it takes about 10 minutes) and costs under $15. The flavors of each ingredient amalgamate together to create the perfect fall appetizer. In other words, you have to try this! To make this you need 1 baguette (I’m obsessed with the bread at La Fournette), 2 Bartlett pears, 1 bag of pecans, ricotta cheese, honey, and pepper.

Cut your baguette into slices approximately ½ – 1 inch thick. Set aside. Cut the pears, vertically, into slices. Spread the ricotta on top of the baguette slices.

Place a pear slice on top of the layer of ricotta cheese.

Rough chop the pecans and place on top of the pear slice. Sprinkle with pepper to taste and then drizzle with honey. Serve to guests and enjoy!
