I’ve been in major clean out mode — so much so that Spiro asked me if I was pregnant (I’m not!). With my massive clean out came the need to purchase a few new home items and I had some lamps around my house that needed to be replaced. On my search I stumbled upon Target’s new Project 62 Collection. These lamps are awesome and so affordable. I’ve also been reconnecting with things that make me feel good like new red lipstick and recommitting to the chiropractor. After I had Zelda, I became one hundred times busier and fell off the wagon. It’s time to get back on! What are you doing this month that makes you feel good? Tell me in the comments below.
Project 62 Collection at Target: If you’re looking for a quick and easy pick me up for any room in your house, be sure to check out the Project 62 Collection at Target. The collection is so well made and it makes me wonder how these wizards produce these amazing lamps at such low prices. However, I’m not complaining because I just ordered one this morning for $39.99!
My Fabulous Fairy Tale Collection: Every parent knows the bedtime routine. We always ask, “What do you want to read tonight?” and Zelda brings us fifteen books. We negotiate down to seven and then spend the next hour reading to her in bed. It’s not a terrible thing, but if you can condense it down to one book that contains multiple stories, it is so much easier. I love the “My Fabulous Fairy Tale Collection” because this hardcover book is beautifully illustrated and Zelda is excited to read it each night.
Marc Jacobs ‘Dashing’ Lipstick: The new season calls for a new lip. I’ve been searching for the perfect everyday red and I think I found it. This lipstick by Marc Jacobs is called ‘Dashing’ and it strikes a balance between warm and cool, making it ideal for winter.
Crosley Record Player: I might have mentioned this before and I’m going to mention it again because I love it so much. The Crosley Record Player is a fantastic gift for any age. It is available in multiple colors and patterns, so you can find the perfect one to fit whoever you are gifting it to. It allows you to introduce music into any room of the house. Zelda carries her constantly from room to room. As a bonus, she is really into vinyl. How cool is that?
East Bank Chiropractic: Anyone who knows me knows I have battled migraines my entire life. Chiropractic care has been the only way that I’ve been able to manage it, but when I had Zelda, I fell off the wagon. The good news is I am getting back on and thank God! Look at my x-ray — see that curve in my spine? Moms, most of us have this from carrying our kids around. I always carry Zelda on my right side and you can really see it. If you haven’t had x-rays, I highly recommend doing it and if you’re in Chicago, go see Dr. Zrelak at East Bank. I’ve used him over two hundred times and can personally vouch that he is the best.
