Since I’m not usually hungry right when I wake up one of the hardest parts of my post baby diet has been forcing myself to eat a regular breakfast! When dieting I’ve learned that this is the most important meal of the day because it jump starts my metabolism. It’s definitely forced me to change my morning routine.
I’ve also noticed that eating 5 smaller meals gives me more energy throughout the day. While I’m seriously missing some of my lunch favorites (see you soon Blue Door) I’m super motivated to lose my baby weight! What has been your most successful weight loss venture?
Breakfast: 4 scrambled egg whites on 2 slices of whole wheat toast.
Snack: 120g low-fat cottage cheese with blueberries and honey.
Lunch: Smoothie – blend 25g whey protein, 80g raspberries, 80g blueberries, 50g blackberries and water; 30g mixed nuts.
Snack: 100g low-fat yogurt and pineapple.
Dinner: Tuna salad with spinach, cherry tomatoes, and red pepper; 4 small potatoes.
