Even after our super fun Mom’s Crew event on Saturday, Zelda was somehow still bursting with energy, so we took a little walk to work some of that out. Unfortunately, as soon as we stepped out the door it started to rain (doesn’t it always go that way?) though my jacket was spared thanks to a hunch I had. Despite the rain, spring is definitely in the air. Everywhere we went there was green on the trees and tulips popping up, adding much needed color to the urban landscape. Cookie in hand, Zelda was completely unfazed by the water. Baby girl just rolls with the punches and I love it!
That day Zelda was dressed to move in her black bodysuit with ruffled shoulders, her new bubble shorts and her floral Vans for optimal speed. This girl is always on the move, and she’s learned that if she keeps her shoes on she can run with ease! I ordered Z’s shorts from a shop called Little Bear Bottoms and I am obsessed. The pattern, color scheme and fit are so Zelda, I can tell they are going to be a constant in her wardrobe as the weather warms up. However until that happens, we keep breaking out her Monica & Andy vegan leather jacket. It goes with everything in Zelda’s wardrobe, the fit is great and it’s just beyond adorable.
I can’t get enough of my distressed jeans lately, they just fit perfectly and are so comfy. Whether I wear flats or heels the length is on point. My Pour La Victoire flats are one of my constant staples, they always add just the right amount of edge.
What are your closet staples when running around with your little babe? Let me know by responding in the comments below!
