Gather the entire family together to embrace the spirit of Thanksgiving by making these adorable Pilgrim Hat Cupcakes! All you need is cake mix (and the ingredients on the back of the cake mix box!), white frosting, orange and yellow sprinkles, mini Reese’s peanut butter cups, and fudge stripes. Make the cake mix according to the instructions on the box. Place cupcake liners in a cupcake tin. Fill each liner with cake mix and bake according to the instructions on the box. Remove the cupcakes from the oven and let cool for 10-15 minutes. While the cupcakes are cooling, secure a mini Reese’s cup to the bottom center of a fudge stripe using frosting. Place a small amount of frosting in a plastic baggie and cut a small corner off. Squeeze the frosting out of the small hole to create the piping for the hat around the base of the mini Reese’s cup. Once the cupcakes have cooled frost the tops and add sprinkles. Place the pilgrim hat on top of the cupcake (we did ours slightly to the side). Enjoy these festive treats with friends and family!
