Rad Mom Ola Omami is a true trendsetter (no, seriously she gets paid to do so!). As the founder of design agency, LimitedUnlimited she is always on the lookout for the next big thing and has been tapped by well-known outlets including Elle Décor and Time Out, to do so. Known for her impeccable taste and love for all things Japanese, she was inspired by her daughter to launch OMAMImini, a children’s clothing line that is expertly crafted and unbelievably chic!

Little’s Names & Ages: Eva, 6
Top Beauty Product You Must Have as a Mom: My magic wand is Dior’s Glow Maximizer – it’s a very subtle highlighter that looks absolutely natural and gives that fresh, glowing look even after 4 hours of sleep. Another thing I can’t live without is Oscar Blandi’s Dry Shampoo. Since my hair is naturally super curly and I style it straight (which is super time consuming), having an extra day without a wash is golden.
Favorite Lipstick Color or Balm: In most cases I’m just using C.O. Bigelow’s Vanilla Mint Lip Shine, it’s completely clear, but very shiny, stays on well and smells amazing. For special events I love Dior’s Creme De Gloss in Rouge Nectar. It’s the perfect red.
Top 3 Pieces of Kids Gear: I’d say the i-Pad is definitely something we wouldn’t survive without and a recent upgrade – her very own purple earphones are a great addition to keep the background noise in the house to minimum. Our second best playtime hit is Lego – in most cases I still need to be part of the building team, but that’s the major portion of the fun I guess. Lastly, the Tangle Teezer Detangling Brush! It’s a must in our everyday struggle with curly hair brushing.
Favorite Kids Clothing Brand: OMAMImini, obviously! Next season we’re adding shoes and I’ll be able to say that this is the only brand my daughter is ever wearing. The denim dress and romper from the current collection has been on high rotation this season.
Activity You Love To Do With Your Little: Anything beach related, from a picnic to tide pools to treasure hunts. California beaches don’t allow swimming much, unfortunately, but it is still the most relaxing and balancing place on Earth. Snorkeling (when on vacation) is one of my favorite activities ever, you just put your head under the water and there’s this silence and a whole different world.
Your Secret Obsession When You Get an Hour to Yourself: To be honest, with a 6-year old it’s not that rare anymore to get an hour (or more!) for myself, but I love squeezing a little gardening into my hectic schedule, it feels so meditative and relaxing. I can’t say I have a green thumb really, the only plants I’m capable taking care of are cacti and succulents, but it still counts as gardening, right?
Closet Staple That You Can’t Live Without: Acne’s Laurie Crossbody Purse with fringe and tassels. I was in love with it forever and my husband managed to find it for me when it was sold out everywhere. I hate dragging around huge satchels and mostly just need my phone, cards and keys, so this bag is more of a pocket extension than a purse, and it’s all I need. It also gives a quick upgrade to any outfit and works with any style.
Favorite Dessert Recipe to Make for Your Little: I don’t really cook much, but my daughter loves baking with me, so from time to time she asks me to make cookies together. We usually opt for the easiest butter cookies and just cut them into fun shapes. We have a serious collection of cookie cutters for any occasion and our favorite is cats!
