Earlier this week I promised you a baby shower recap, so here it is (check out what I wore here)! It was definitely one of the most amazing days of my pregnancy, I loved seeing everyone come together to celebrate Baby Z! I can’t wait to show her these photos when she’s older, I want her to see how much everyone adored her even before she was born! Photo Credit: Kirsten Miccoli Photography
I had never been to Tru prior to my shower, but as soon as I walked in, I immediately fell in love! The space is amazing, it has a great sophisticated, modern feel to it. The Land of Nod was gracious enough to help outfit the space and the result was perfection! They brought in all kinds of toys, dolls and even a teepee! Another layer of décor was of course, fashion. We brought in an assortment of fashion coffee table books to add a touch of luxe to the whimsical decorations. “Baby Zelda’s Closet” was set up to showcase some of the pieces Baby Z will be wearing once she arrives, filled with clothes and lots of tiny shoes! Balloons, confetti, and Zelda’s banner were done by Sweet Lulu and it was sheer perfection. Top it all off with some gorgeous flowers by Debi Lily, and we were ready to party!
We thought it would be fun to have a book where guests could write down some life advice for Baby Z, so Graphic Image made a custom book that was a perfect fit!
Boutique Bites created an amazing menu for the afternoon, serving guests mini cheeseburgers, truffle parmesan frites, chicken tacos, watermelon cups and strawberry-lavender lemonade. And that’s not even the half of it! Not only is their food delicious, but everything is so little and perfect!
My wonderful friends Bridget White and Monique Jones planned and hosted my baby shower for me, and I couldn’t have imagined anything more perfect, they did such a fabulous job. I’m so happy that all of our friends could be there to help me celebrate this special time, and of course my mom was there as well! She actually created a super fun DIY, everyone loved it at the shower!
