You’re about to be the most popular mom on the block (and the smartest one too!) because you’re going to encourage your children to eat candy. Yes, you read that right! Fruit and Veggie Gummy snacks taste exactly like delicious candy gummies, but they are all natural and give your littles the nutrients they need. To make the gummies you need 3 carrots, 2 oranges, 3 apples, 1 cup pineapple, 2 tablespoons honey, and ¼ cup gelatin. gummy-snacks Begin by peeling the carrots and placing them into a juicer or a high speed blender (with water) to create juice. Repeat this step with all of the fruit. Combine the juice and heat in a sauce pan on low heat (you don’t want it to boil). Once it is warm, whisk in the honey and gelatin. hearts-gummies Pour the juice into the gummy molds. It works the best if you place the gummy molds on a baking sheet before pouring the juice. Place in the refrigerator and allow the gummies to set (this takes at least 2 hours). Pop the gummies out of the molds and pass out to your kiddos and their friends! heart-fruit-gummies Recipe adapted from Live Simply
