Almond Yogurt Toast is quickly becoming one my breakfast favorites! It’s low-fat and I can put it together in under 5 minutes, which is perfect because I’m usually trying to get out the door as fast as I can. To make it you need wheat bread, 1/4 cup non-fat plain yogurt, honey, and almonds (I’m obsessed with Sunbiotic Nuts Original Almonds from Abe’s Market, they come in a perfectly sized resealable pack!).
Begin by putting 2 slices of wheat bread in the toaster. Meanwhile, mix 1/4 cup non-fat plain yogurt and 1 tablespoon of honey in a small bowl.
Once the bread is toasted, slice it in half and top with the yogurt honey mixture and almonds. Drizzle with honey and enjoy your delicious and nutritious breakfast!
