Healthy Feet for Summer

There have been so many things to get used to since moving to Colorado, but one of the things I’ve definitely taken notice of is the toll my new lifestyle (hello skiing!) is taking on my feet. From more physical activity to dry mountain air, a girl can’t be walking around all summer long with cracked callused feet.

Corri McFadden shows Zelda how to have happy feet for summer.

So even though it’s not the sexiest thing to talk about, I knew I had to freaking do something because these calluses are just not working for me. I know calluses are something lots of women have to deal with, but I’ll be honest, it wasn’t ever really an issue for me before moving to Colorado. That being said, I’ve spent some time experimenting with a few different products to try and find a solution.

The best way to have healthy feet this summer.

And find a solution did I! In fact, I’m pretty sure I found the holy grail of feet products. Spend 10 minutes a week using these two products and your feet will legit be baby soft. Plus they’re also safe for kids so it’s kind of turned into a fun little activity Zelda and I do together. Anyway, here’s what I recommend if you need to up your feet game before summer!

The first product is the Harmony Foot File. What you do is soak your feet in warm water for about five to 10 minutes (if you have Epsom salt in the water that’s even better!) and then use the tool to file away your cracked heels. It basically breaks down all the layers of dead skin that have formed a callus on your foot and reveals a new, soft layer! Think of it as a facial for your feet. It doesn’t hurt a bit and is so easy to do! You can even do it in front of the TV!

The second product you’ll want to use is this Healthy Feet Foot Cream. I like to do my filing about an hour before bed and then follow it up by rubbing the cream into my feet, particularly the heel, and then up onto my ankles. Anywhere you might have any dry skin, it will take care of overnight!

Keep your feet healthy with Glitter and Bubbles.

I’ve been doing this little routine about two or three times a week, which I recommend if you have really dry, cracked feet like I did. Once you get your feet back to normal or if you’re starting at normal and just want to take better care of them, I think once a week will do the trick.

So there’s my new strategy for soft, healthy feet! It will keep your feet looking fresh and feeling good all summer long – promise! I hope you find this helpful and you love these products as much as I do!
