West Coast best coast? Well, I’m a Midwest girl but the constant sunshine sure makes a hard case!
Last weekend, I was extremely honored to jump on a plane to meet the incredible team from Farfetch for an Ambassador Gathering that was truly extraordinary.
If you haven’t discovered the brand yet, you’re in for ultimate fashion bliss. The site curates and brings together the world’s most innovative independent designer boutiques from fashion capitals around the world. That means you can shop over 300+ designers from exactly where you’re sitting…too good to be true (but it’s not!).
The weekend consisted of an amazing celebration with an exclusive preview of the Wear LACMA 50th Anniversary Collection! The collection includes limited edition pieces designed by Los Angeles designers, such as Monique Lhuillier and Rodarte, with each item inspired by LACMA’s permanent collection. I fell in love with this CO Short Sleeve Blouse — so rad! If you’re not based in LA, you can now shop the collection on Farfetch.com.
One thing is for sure, Farfetch definitely knows how to throw the most spectacular dinners ever! We dined at the Beverly Hills hotel with the most amazing view of LA while electronic-soul duo Kaneholler performed live. This amazing meal left me in awe of the city and I didn’t think my experience in the sunshine state could get any better…but it did!
The best way to see the famed city? By helicopter! Farfetch gave us the grand tour of Los Angeles via air, flying us from Beverly Hills to Malibu, for yes, another amazing gathering at Rocky Oaks Ranch. The table was set with fall florals, a personalized haiku poem created by on-site writers, tarot card readings and a view that would make you pack your bags immediately!
As the night went on, the evening chill rolled in, so thankfully I brought my COACH Embellished Racer Jacket. The night was magical and it was wonderful to sit beside the talented and stylish Farfetch Ambassadors including, Erica Pelosini, DJ Kiss, Angelique Soave, Tanja Gacic, Yukari Ota and many others.
In addition to the memorable parties and dinners, we were guided through an exclusive tour of Farfetch’s LA boutiques and had an incredible stay at the The Beverly Hills Hotel. As a traveling mama, I couldn’t be more impressed with the Beverly Hills Hotel’s amenities for children (Zelda hasn’t let go of her bear!). It was an iconic LA experience that we’re never going to forget!
