What to Do on Easter Weekend: Egg Hunts, Beautiful Brunches & More!

If your house is anything like mine right now, your babe is counting down the days until the Easter Bunny shows up! As I mentioned yesterday, we’ve been gearing up for Easter all week by making treats and doing fun DIYs to prepare for the big day. Still not sure how your Easter weekend is going to shape up? I’ve got you covered!

Mariano’s Egg Hunt: At ALL Mariano’s locations on Saturday, April 15th at 7:30am there will be an egg hunt for kids between ages two and ten. They’ll divide everyone into the appropriate age groups and then the fun will begin! It’s free, but make sure you babe brings their own basket for their eggs. Get full details here.

Brunch at the Morton Arboretum: Get a delicious brunch and hang with the Easter Bunny at the Morton Arboretum tomorrow (the 15th) at 9:00am. Tickets for those older than thirteen are $41, kids between ages three and twelve are $28 and littles under three years old are free. Members do save a little bit on their tickets, and you can view those prices and other details here.

Egg Hunt at Maggie Daley Park: I know this one is happening today, so if you’re reading this and can wrangle the crew together in time, props to you! It looks totally worth the scramble downtown. From 10am to 2pm at Maggie Daley Park, there’s not only an egg hunt, but some fun medieval activities for the whole crew! Participants in the egg hunt must be between ages one and twelve, and admission is $5 for each child.

Easter Brunch Spirit Cruise: If you’re looking for something to do on Sunday, spend the afternoon on the lake! Hop on at Navy Pier, and take in the beautiful Chicago skyline while enjoying brunch with your crew. The ship leaves the dock at 12:30pm and comes back at 2:30pm. Tickets for adults are $57.90, kids between ages three and twelve are $34.95 and babes under three years old are free! Oh, and of course the Easter Bunny will be there!

Easter Egg Hunt at Pump It Up: As if an Easter Egg Hunt wasn’t exciting enough, this one is at Pump It Up! They have a ton of time slots throughout the day on Saturday, beginning at 9am. The hunt concludes at 4pm, so head over to their site to sign up for a spot (a must), and admission for kids is $12 each.

Brunch at the Drake: Brunch at The Drake Hotel is also happening on Sunday and there will be yummy food, music and a ton of fun! Brunch is served from 10am to 3pm, and I would definitely call to make a reservation. It costs $115 for adults, kids five and under eat for free and littles older than five are $39 each.
