When I was younger my mom would put together the raddest and baddest DIY t-shirt slumber parties for my birthday every year! At a young age DIYs became part of my life, my mom was always blinging, patching or painting something. I was online shopping for new spring art supplies for Zelda when I stumbled across the Yoobi Stencil Paint Set and was flooded with those DIY childhood memories that I had not rehashed for the past two decades.
In an attempt to channel my mom’s artistic ability I decided that I would stencil a pair of jeans for Zelda, and start slow until I got my rhythm. Well let me tell you…this kit is so freakin’ easy to use you will literally Beyonce your way through the entire project!

Make sure you insert a piece of cardstock between the layers of what you will be painting so that you do not have any bleed through. If you forget this step it will buzzkill your entire project.

Before you get all crazy and just start stenciling, make sure you create a vision for your final design. Otherwise, you’ll just end up with a bunch of s**t stenciled everywhere!

I would suggest allowing these to dry overnight to make sure that the paint is set. Don’t forget to wash them inside out in cold water or all of your hard work will literally go down the drain!
