Lunchables should always be three things: delicious, easy to put together and fun to eat! Store bought lunchables are full of preservatives, packed with sodium and most contain a full day’s worth of saturated fat – no thanks. Making a homemade lunchable is so easy and allows you to have way more control of what your little one is consuming. I took a few of Zelda’s favorite foods and used cupcake liners to separate them in her lunch box. It was very easy to transport to the park and would make such a fun lunch for back to school. I made sure she is eating fruits and veggies but included a few special elements too (think mini Reese’s Cups and star shaped cheese). Your options are endless! What does your little one bring to school for lunch? Tell me in the comments below!
