Did you know that Chicago is home to the largest toy and game show in the country and that it kicks off at Navy Pier next weekend? If you didn’t, now you do, and if you did know, I’m sure you already have your tickets! We are so stoked for ChiTAG, which has been quoted as “the ‘it’ event of the toy industry”. You know those shows where you attend and can’t get your hands on the products for six months? This isn’t that kind of event. At this show, you can shop. It’s the perfect time to get a head start on your holiday shopping because you can walk away with the items you fall in love with.
And since we adore you so much, we are giving away a family pack of tickets along with a ton of awesome toys! Zelda has been testing out the same toys all week and she’s never had more fun, which is why she wants to make sure one of you gets just as much entertainment. All we ask is that you answer our giveaway question — see below! If you don’t want to leave things up to chance, you can purchase your tickets now and save 50% with the code ChiTAGPLAY.

Playfoam, Soggy Doggy Game, Automoblox & Groovy Blocks
These are a few of Zelda’s favorite things! Playfoam is on regular rotation at our house and I love it because it never dries out. I never have that disappointing morning where I realize I forgot to seal the lid the night before. As far as Soggy Doggy goes – I have a permanent river flowing down my coffee table because Zelda has been playing with it on repeat for nearly two weeks. However, I’m not going to complain because she is having so much fun.
I love Groovy Blocks because they are built with these cool little grooves that allow us to build sound structures, which is very fulfilling. The Automoblox are so well constructed that my husband thinks they are his – I found them in his nightstand this morning!
5 Tickets to LegoLand Chicago Discovery Center
Who isn’t a Lego fanatic? Everyone loves them – except for the parent who steps on them at 2am in the dark. We’ve all been there. If you haven’t been to the LegoLand Discovery Center yet, it is so much fun. We are giving away five tickets for you and your family. This place has twelve amazing attractions including a 4D cinema, a jungle expedition, a Duplo village and more!
Ship of Treasures Board Game & UtterNonsense Family Board Gam
Every year at ChiTAG they host the young inventor challenge. Last year, they had over 115 entries with original toys and games created by nearly 200 children. The winner was Ship of Treasures, a pirate themed treasure hunt game. The game was created by two local inventors named Olivia Wasilewski and Brynna Siewers which was produced by Pressman Toys and is now available at Target. Our giveaway includes this game with a little something extra – it’s autographed by the inventors!
Also included in the prize pack is UtterNonsense. It is a hilarious accent game and perfect to play with your family during the holidays.
Mattel’s Bounce Off, UNO Attack, Snapshouts, Squawk & Gas Out
When I hear Mattel a flood of childhood memories come back to me. That is why we are giving you five of Mattel’s hottest games. This will allow you to create even more memories with your family! If you haven’t played UNO Attack, it is so much fun and is definitely worth putting on your Christmas list.
*Fun Fact: Playing board games 2 times per week increases brain speed scores of elementary students 27-32%.
This giveaway is now closed, thank you to everyone who entered! Congratulations to our random winner who has been notified.
