Autumnal Mason Jar Candle Holders are a cheap and inexpensive way to spruce up your home. With all of the leaves falling from the trees it’s the perfect time to make these with your children. You will need a mason jar, leaves (just grab a few from outside!), Mod Podge, and a sponge brush. First, wipe your mason jar with a wet paper towel and let dry. The leaves will not stick to the jar if it is dirty (it doesn’t hurt to wipe down the leaves either!). Dip your brush in the Mod Podge and paint a thin layer on one section of the jar and attach a leaf. Next, coat the leaf with another layer of Mod Podge. Start in the center of and work your way out to the edges. Coat the leaf with as many layers as necessary until it lays flat on the jar. Don’t be afraid to use your fingers to smooth it out! Repeat this process until the jar is covered in leaves. Let dry (this may take a few hours). Once dry, add some sparkle and tie a metallic ribbon around the top!
