I’m very into skincare right now. I feel like this typically starts to happen in your late 30s because all the damage you’ve done to your skin starts to become noticeable. Anyone else?? In the last year, I’ve done a significant amount of work to make my skin a priority and have been very picky about the products and services I choose to invest in to make my skin its best. And let me say, it is freaking expensive. It’s one of those things, though, that if it’s important to you, you’ve got to invest in it.

If you follow along on Instagram, then you know I’ve been in Greece for the past two weeks and I’m going to be here for another two weeks. I was pretty concerned about being in the sun for four weeks straight because I didn’t want all my hard work and progress on my skin to go to waste. So I made a deal with myself that I’d still focus on taking care my skin on this trip. This includes shading it from the sun as much as possible and going makeup free.

Even though I’ve said no to pretty much all makeup, I still have some amazing products I’ve been using to keep my skin in tip-top condition, which is what I want to share with you today.

The Silk’n FaceFX has been my number one on this trip. Silk’n seriously has the best products, one of which I wrote about here, and the FaceFX is no exception. It’s so easy to use and is helping my skin age a little more gracefully – AKA stopping all the lines and wrinkles that have been showing up in recent years. Not to mention it’s going to help keep my summer glow from a month in Greece all year long.

To use the Silk’n FaceFX all you have to do is apply facial oil and rotate it around your face focusing on the different areas for 15 minutes. You can literally do it with your kid hanging off of you. Just make sure you’re in a stationary place near an outlet to plug it in.

It’s super small and compact, so you can throw it in your toiletry bag along with the rest of your beauty supplies. It’s recommended that you start with 3 treatments per week for the first month and then adjust the treatments based on your needs.  It’s also clinically tested, dermatologist recommended and will give you long lasting results. It’s not too good to be true, ladies, trust me.

The Silk’n FaceFX has been the perfect tool for me while I’ve been in Greece as it uses LED red light therapy, which supports the skin’s ability to fight environmental damage and regenerate. The device doesn’t stop there, it also uses thermal heating to make the treatments even more effective (and feels nice too!). So by combining the red light therapy with the deep thermal heating, it improves blood circulation, produces more collagen and allows for better absorption of moisturizer – keeping you radiant no matter where you are.
