When you have a toddler, every season means starting from scratch with their wardrobe. They are growing like crazy and nothing fits from last year. We tried on Zelda’s winter coats and without fail, they were all too small. Luckily, I have developed a small following on Instagram for Zelda’s Closet where I resell all her old pieces. It is great because it creates a disposable income that I use to buy her new clothing. I have been crushing hard on jackets and coats because this is the time to buy them. If you don’t buy something you love now, it will be gone.

The best fall jackets for toddlers featuring a green sequin jacket from Zara.

That certainly rang true with Zelda’s winter parka that we picked up from Zara a couple of weeks ago. When I saw it I immediately fell in love and began trying to justify squeezing myself into a kids’ size sixteen because it was so good. I wanted to get her something in army green because it serves as a neutral within her wardrobe. It provides a stark opposition to the traditional pinks and purples. If you know Zelda’s style, you know we like things with a little bit of a rock edge which is why I thought her army green coat was the perfect piece for the season. And how amazing is the sequin detail?

The best fall jackets for toddlers including a denim star print jacket.

I’m a jacket fanatic and my girl has quite the jacket game going on her closet — I wish I could say the same for mine. If you’re a mom you know how it goes, you always tend to buy for your kid(s) before you buy for yourself. I love this Lola + the Boys star denim jacket because it is such an easy piece to throw on over a basic tee. This modern yet simple take a traditional denim jacket is one of our favorites for fall.

The best fall jackets for toddlers featuring a camo print jacket.

Camo is all over this season and I absolutely love it. I have tons of camo in my own closet so I knew I wanted to get Zelda a jacket too. There is nothing better than matching your mini! This jacket from Windy City Bebe has a tulle underlay that gives it a little bit of volume and the floral pattern takes it up a notch to give it a feminine twist. The best part? It is under $50 so it doesn’t break the bank. It’s a piece that your babe is guaranteed to love.
