Last weekend we took a little field trip to the Garfield Park Conservatory to check it out for the first time with Zelda. If you haven’t made it out there yet, you totally should as it’s one of our city’s gems! It’s filled with all types of beautiful flowers that we don’t get to see in our day to day city life, making it a nice break from the norm. In addition to the gorgeous blooms, there are some amazing art installations (check out the solaris exhibit going on now!) and a children’s garden where your babes can work out some of that energy they’ve got built up!
I knew Zelda would want to run around while we were there, so it was time to break out her panda bodysuit and a comfy pair of joggers. I’d been waiting to put her in this for a while and it was just as cute as I imagined it would be! No outfit of Zelda’s is complete without her signature pair of Docs, so we threw on her trusty black pair and she was set.
I love a classic pair of black joggers, lately I can’t get enough of them. This day was no exception, I wore them with a sheer floral tee and added a contrasting bra. Keeping up with Zelda is hard work, and I knew heels were not a good choice on this particular day. My black Nike’s are ideal for days out like this, they’re comfy and I don’t have to sacrifice anything style-wise.
