Vanessa Lambert has her hands full. She is the fashionable force behind What Would V Wear, a lifestyle blog that she started in 2014. And as if that wasn’t enough, she is also expecting her second son in just a few short weeks! Vanessa has an amazing sense of style, and she hasn’t let that fall to the wayside while pregnant (she kindly shares tips too!).

It’s not just about the clothes though. Vanessa gives readers a glimpse into her family life, like how she’s getting her son Kingston ready to be a big brother and the importance of being present with your crew. This Chicago based mama knows what’s up, and we love reading what she has to say!

Little’s Names & Ages: Kingston, 5 years old and currently expecting baby #2 due March 2017.
Give Us All the Deets About Yourself, Your Family and What You Do: I was born and raised in Europe which means I was exposed to a variety of artistry and cultures that I try to incorporate in my fashion and own style mantra. I met my husband during my exchange year in the US and after a long-distance relationship of 5 years, traveling back and forth from Europe to the US (and vice versa) we decided to get married. We tied the knot in 2007 and welcomed our fist son, Kingston in 2011. We are currently expecting another baby boy due this March.
You’re Currently 30+ Weeks Pregnant with Your Second Boy on the Way! Tell Us How This Pregnancy is Different from Your First: People always told me that no pregnancy is like the last one, and I must admit that this statement is completely true. I never experienced fatigue and nausea during my first pregnancy, and this pregnancy has had me on a roller-coaster ride since day one! Granted I’m older now, and I have a running toddler to take care off, but seriously…it has been physically very tough.
What Have You Done to Prepare Your Son Kingston for His New Role as Big Brother: We talk to our son about his baby brother, and frankly our son couldn’t be more excited! He wished for a baby brother before we even got pregnant.
Give Us a Glimpse into the Timeline of an Average Day from the Time You Wake Up to the Time You Go to Bed: I’m not going to lie…being a working mom can be little chaotic at times. Typically, my day starts around 5:45AM. I get up, take a shower and start to make breakfast at around 6.30AM. My son’s school starts at 7:30AM, hence the need to get things done before I wake him. We eat breakfast together (which is really important to me), and around 7:15AM we’re on our way to school. Once I get back home I get to work (I work from home).
I typically work from 8AM until 3PM since I need to pick up my son from school at 3:15PM. Afterwards it’s quality time with my son until daddy gets home from work which is around 6PM. We have dinner at 6:30PM, followed by bath time for Kingston and then story/bed time by 8PM. After that mommy and daddy can finally relax together before I get to bed around 9PM. I seriously cannot stay up after 9PM – hello, pregnancy fatigue!
