This particular day happened to be one of the only gorgeous ones we’ve seen thus far in 2016, so we left our car at home and took a nice stroll to little Connor Eaton’s first birthday party. Connor’s mama is the fab Amelia Canham Eaton, the voice behind The Chicago Life Blog, and girl knows how to throw a party!
About halfway through our walk to the fete I realized that Zelda and I were sartorially syncing yet again! It was completely unintentional and I admit this happens quite a bit. Mamas I know you get what I’m saying, it just kind of happens and before you know it your wardrobes are mirroring each other. I don’t think it’s something you can help and I have to admit I kind of like it! Zelda puts her own twist on her outfits which I love, she’s really starting to develop her own sense of style. Apparently we were both feeling denim today, Z chose her brushstroke moccs to wear and I sprung for my trusty Adidas.
We’re still loving our Orbit G3 stroller, it’s been with us from the beginning and I love how it grows with us. I really can’t say enough good things about it, it’s easy to use day to day and also to travel with. It’s really the only piece of “gear” that I use and love. Zelda is definitely a little thrill seeker just like her father, so we ordered this rad kickstand attachment for our G3. I already know it’s going to be a hit!
