8 Spectacular Pumpkin Patches You Don’t Want to Miss

It’s officially fall, which means it’s okay to get excited about the chill in the air and pumpkin everything. That includes the slew of pumpkin patches that have opened their doors in the past week or so! For many, the suburbs are home and are in close proximity to a slew of pumpkin patches. But for us city dwellers a trip to the pumpkin patch means a mini road trip, and for Zelda and I it’s much welcomed. The fresh air and open fields are a nice little break from the craziness of city living, so we take a few trips before the season ends around October 31st.

To take some of the work out of things, we created a map of pumpkin patches that are all close to an hour’s drive from the city. We’re really lucky to have such a nice assortment, and each one is special in its own way. There’s more to these spots than just pumpkins, many of them have rides and petting zoos to keep littles smiling from ear to ear. We wouldn’t be surprised if the car ride home was completely silent! A day full of fun, memories and exhausted babes? I’d say that’s a win!
