Wasn’t that burst of spring weather we had amazing?! My entire household is still in a good mood from hitting the playground sans jacket. However, until sunny warm temps stick around for good, we’re rounding up mostly indoor activities. Here are some fun things you can do in the next week to keep those good vibes going! Aquamermaid School: Babes obsessed with The Little Mermaid or all things aquatic will love this mermaid school. Mermaid classes are for ages 7-13 and knowing how to swim is a must. They’ll learn all about swimming with a mermaid tail, and will be talking about this one for days! The class is $60 for one hour. Get the full rundown here.
Family Workshop at the Art Institute: Kids ages 6-12 who are in love with art will love this hour and a half long workshop on Saturday, February 25th. They’ll learn about the changes certain pieces have undergone as time has passed, and they get to use their imaginations too! Register and get the details here.
Memories with Mom at American Girl: On Sunday, February 26th, moms and daughters can plan on a morning of crafts and food! It’s for girls 8 years and older, and tickets are $31 per person. You will need a reservation, and you can find the phone number to make one here.
Building Your Birth Plan Class at Monica and Andy: This one is for mamas to be! On Saturday, February 25th from 10am to 11:30am, Monica and Andy is hosting a birth planning class with The Birthing Boutique. It’s aimed at helping soon to be moms decide what they want when that magical moment arrives. Registration is required.
Salamander Live Feeding at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum: Each Monday the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum has live animal feedings, and on Monday, February 27th it’s salamanders! It’s free with admission, and begins at 1pm.
DJ Dance Party with DJ Matt Roan at Mr. Dave’s: Head there today at 5:30pm to kick off the weekend! Mr. Dave is hosting DJ Matt Roan for what is sure to be a crazy good dance party for the babes! This event is geared toward kids ages 5 and under, and runs just under an hour. The perfect timeframe for tiny ones! Tickets are $10 per child, and can be purchased here.

Museum of Modern Art: The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art is fantastic for kids and adults alike! Adult entry is $25, and kids 18 and under are free. This is an inspiring way to spend an afternoon whether you are a tourist or local!
