Even though my husband thinks it is a silly day, we always go out for a nice dinner.

Last year we could not celebrate Valentine’s Day because I was 5 months pregnant with our first baby and could not stomach foods. This year he’s planned a lunch date for our son and I complete with puréed heart shaped sweet potato, green beans and mango.
He has steamed, blended and frozen the meal to by himself! I plan to make him his first homemade card with our baby’s hand prints! The fruit of our love taking the spotlight!

Our Valentine’s Days usually involve heart shaped scotcheroos, but this year we will be tango-ing it up in Buenos Aires! Buen-o!

I’ll be celebrating Valentine’s day at home counting my blessings as a single woman as I am not currently in a relationship.

I don’t have anything really big planned, but I am hoping to have a date night with my husband, and go out to dinner and/or a movie. I am not sure where we’d eat, or what movie. I am just happy if I’m with my husband. Thanks for the great giveaway! msmissy02 at gmail dot com

This will be our first Valentines Day as HUSBAND & WIFE!! Tradition has been to avoid the overpriced Valentine’s Day restaurants and cook together at home. We will for sure be busting out any and all useful wedding gifts. I’m going to surprise him with homemade oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies-his favorite (and mine)!!!

This year I plan on telling my hubbie we’re expecting a little one! I’ve been so sick lately that I haven’t had time to buy cards or a gift so I plan on taping evey card he’s ever got me all over our house with a homemade card being the last to open to tell him the great news! 🙂

I plan on spending the day with my friend (she is a single mom) and we are going to go to the Art Institute with her daughter and then afternoon tea! It should be a nice way to spend time with people I care about — even if I don’t have a boyfriend this year!

I’m having my mom come over our house and spend the night with our newborn (1 month old) so we can finally have some alone time, even if that just turns in to time to sleep! We both can use some R&R after 9 months of pregnancy and now sleepless nights

On Valentine’s Day we usually like to stay home and have a nice dinner. My daughters and I will make some special treats for Daddy! If I win it will be the best Valentine’s Day Ever!

My husband and I (newlyweds!) are going to dinner at Rose Angelis. It was actually a favorite restaurant of both of ours before we met, however we don’t get there often because it is always SO busy! We spent our first Valentine’s Day dinner together there a few years ago, so it definitely holds a special place in our hearts. When we decided to get a jump on reservations this year (vs. always waiting until last minute), we both immediately said “Rose Angelis!” Thankfully we beat the rush and got a prime reservation. Nothing says romance – or a perfect Saturday evening out – to us like some amazing Italian and red wine. We are treating ourselves to a restaurant experience we both enjoy … which isn’t always common as we both have such different tastes. I am excited to spend my first Valentine’s Day as a “Mrs.” Is it the 14th yet? <3

My husband and me are both active duty military stationed in two different locations. Our Valentine’s Day this year is going to be watching movies on skype together and ordering pizza. I could not think of a better way to spend Valentine’s Day with my hubby due to the distance.
