A Special Peek at 4 Scary Good Halloween Recipes

It’s my favorite time of year to hit the kitchen and make special little treats! This year I wanted to come up with a few out-of-the-box Halloween party snacks that were both savory and sweet. When I first thought about Halloween my brain went into sugar overload! To balance out the candy craze I opted for nacho monster eyeball tacos (because when it a taco not appropriate?) and a ghoulish cheese plate complete with meat, cheese, fruit and crackers. On the sweeter side I whipped up a Halloween witch’s bark and chocolate covered chips, which were both super easy to make.

Now I have a confession. When I was younger I was obsessed with Oriental Trading and would spend hours perusing their website dreaming of the magical parties I could throw. Fast forward two decades later and I’m indulging my inner middle schooler. And while I might have gone a little overboard, I’m totally in love with everything I purchased. So stay tuned to see the extent of my holiday shopping! I will also reveal the recipe instructions for these delectable dishes each week in October. The best part? My décor cost under $75. What are your favorite Halloween recipes? Tell me in the comments below.
