Father’s Day Weekend: Brunch 4-Ways, Mini Golf & More!

I feel like we just celebrated Mother’s Day, and I can’t get over that the year is half over. Now it’s dad’s turn, and there’s no shortage of fun in Chicago for him and the whole crew! If you still need to plan the whole day or are just looking for an activity or two to fill out your agenda, there’s plenty here the entire family will love.

Mystic Blue Father’s Day Brunch Cruise: This cruise is an excellent way to get outside and enjoy some delicious food while celebrating dad! If you already have brunch plans for the day, you could also catch one of the Seadog Architecture cruises. We did that for Mother’s Day and everyone had the BEST time!

Father’s Day “Beauty and the Beast” Dance Party at Duet Dance Studios: If you’ve got a crew who loves to dance, this is the perfect option! Your crew can get dressed up and learn some dance moves inspired by “Beauty and the Beast”. The class starts at 1:15pm and goes for 45 minutes. It’s best for those ages 5 and older, and tickets are $15 each. You can buy tickets online

Father’s Day Brunch Class at The Kids’ Table: This cooking school catered to kids has family cooking classes, and they are hosting a special one for Father’s Day (you might have seen the Mother’s Day edition in our round-up last month!). They offer the class at both their Wicker Park and Lakeview locations, and both start at 10am. If the menu looks like something your family would dig, get your tickets now.

Mini Golf at Maggie Daley Park: You could do this any day of the year, but why not take dad on his special day?! Among other activities, Maggie Daley Park has a mini golf course that looks like a ton of fun. They don’t take reservations so you might be better off going right when they open at 10am, and admission is $11 per person.

Father’s Day BBQ Brunch at the Museum of Science and Industry: I mentioned this one last week and if you had it on your list but didn’t get around to it, your in luck. They still have tickets available for their Father’s Day BBQ Brunch, so get them while you still can!

Tapas for Papas Brunch at Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba: I love this fun take on brunch! Tapas allows everyone to try a little bit of everything, so whether you’ve got a picky eater on your hands or an adventurous one, there is something for them! They do recommend making a reservation, so don’t wait.
