Zelda and I love finding new playgrounds around the city, it gets us out of our usual hangouts, and lets us find new favorites. This also makes sure we don’t fall into a hard routine, after all this city has so many amazing places to explore! These adventures have recently led us to a great one on the North Side, the playground at Nettelhorst School. This particular playground is magical, filled with brightly colored murals and rainbow tassels lining the fence. I learned that this school happens to be arts focused, which explains why it’s so fun and has a bit more imagination that most playgrounds. We can’t get enough of it, I wish all playgrounds were like this.
We got a taste of spring on this particular day, so Zelda decided to wear her new Moschino dress I picked up from Farfetch’s new kids section. That’s right, Zelda is officially consistently picking out her clothes on the regular. She’s very opinionated and insistent when she dictates her choices, so I make sure I’m good with each and every piece when I lay out options for her because once she decides, that’s it!
On weekends I like to keep it simple, so I went for an all denim look, and my current go to sneakers. Whether you’ve got a little or not, a great pair of sneakers is essential, they let you look polished and keep things functional. Running errands in heels is not fun, babe or no babe! Mine are by Adidas, and I was lucky enough to scoop them up while they still had the rose gold toe in stock. They’ve got a metallic dark gray toe that I’m really digging too, so that may have to happen! Another essential for me is a great crossbody bag like this one from Coach, it lets me carry all my must haves and keeps my hands free.
